Discover how to fix the ‘Looks like you are listening on another device’ error message.
Apple Music is awesome, when it works. If Apple Music is constantly pausing, with the error message “It looks like you are listening on another device”, then there are a few things you can try:
Check if anyone is actually using your Apple Music account on another device.
Apple Music only supports one user at a time, so if a friend, family member or colleague is streaming music to their iPhone or Mac in another room, your playback will pause.
If you would like to stream music to more than one device at a time, then you can upgrade to the Apple Music Family plan, which enables you to stream music across a maximum of six devices.
