Learn how to change the Siri keyboard shortcut on your Mac.

Siri is pretty helpful on the Mac. It can do the usual things like tell you the weather or open an app, but it can also search for files, tell you about your Mac and more. To activate Siri using the keyboard press Command-Space. If you want to use a different keyboard shortcut here’s how:

  1. Click on the Apple menu and choose System Preferences.
  2. Click on the Siri option.
  3. Under Keyboard Shortcut, use the drop-down menu to select another option. You can choose from Command-Space (default), Option-SpaceFunction-Space, or you can create your own keyboard shortcut.
