Every now and then you might need to enter a special character in a document, or within an app. It might be an accent used by a foreign language, such as an acute symbol, a diaeresis, or an underbar.
Finding these characters on your keyboard can be tricky, because they’re not always labeled, but thankfully, it’s really easy to explore and apply these accents: just hold down the corresponding letter, then choose the correct accent via the pop-up field.
